With more families expressing interest this year, we have extended the amount of time for the event and added a pizza lunch! We will also be welcoming our guest speaker from earlier in the year, Mineralogist Dr. Paula Piilonen, who will be bringing rocks, minerals, and more to share from the Canadian Museum of Nature!

Our next and final Speaker in the much enjoyed Speaker Series will be in June. Stayed tuned for more information!

Reminder: Family Engagement and Climate Survey is open
The Limestone District School Board’s (LDSB) Family Engagement and Climate Survey is live and we invite families to share their experiences with their student’s school and with the school board.
Your feedback helps Limestone understand what is working well and where we can improve to continue to support welcoming, safe, and supportive school communities.
The survey is open until May 11 and is available online. Paper copies are also available at your school’s administrative office.
Access the Family Engagement and Climate Survey online.
Participation is voluntary and anonymous. You may skip any questions you choose, and no identifying information is collected.
Thank you for sharing your voice and helping strengthen Limestone schools and school communities.
Attendance Matters!
Please ensure students are logging into their synchronous classes daily. Engaging in the learning daily is a key to student success.
Human Development and Sexual Health Curriculum
As part of LDSB's commitment to ongoing transparency and communication with families, please follow the link to Form 325-D on the LDSB website. It outlines the Human Development and Sexual Health curriculum expectations for Grades 1-8. Families can request to have their child or children exempted from instruction related to Human Development and Sexual Health expectations by completing and returning an exemption form for each child (Form 325-B) five school days before the start of instruction. Prior to instruction, your child's classroom teacher will inform parents/guardians when the expectations related to the Human Development and Sexual Health expectations in Strand D will be covered. For a more detailed overview of this process, please refer to Administrative Procedure 325: Exemption From Human Development and Sexual Health Instruction (listed under the Policies and Procedures section of the LDSB website), or contact the school.
